ah boredom. this is ridiculous.

i have been having trouble sleeping for over a week. which royally sucks since i work before the crack of dawn with no sleep. i can't seem to figure it out. and generally i'm not sleeping any more during the day than i was during school. lordy. i need night sleep. and i can honestly tell you.. THERE IS NOTHING ON FUCKING TV LATE AT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!! i have been channel surfing or online playing gin on yahoo games cause i can't sleep.

memorial day i did nothing but channel surf. how boring is that?!? that's rhetorical. occassionally i would tinker with the apss site and cy's visit page on my site.

well that's been the last couple of days for me..i lead such a thrilling life.

ah...summer break..boredom.

saturday 17th
today was rather busy..first i got up and had to get joy and quinn gifts for their respective parties. it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo damn hard to find a gift for joy. her style is a cross btwn so much and i was calling kristina and trish trying to get ideas but that always failed. the only real help i got from them was that joy's fave color is red and that she's a cross btwn a hip hop and punk style. great help don't you think. so i headed up to the carlsbad outlets..alone...of course i couldn't resist going into the skecher store..got myself some shoes..similar to my white with baby blue logo except this time the logo is denim blue. everyone says it makes my feet look smaller than they are. yes i have small feet. so then after going through the mall i finally got them their gifts at pacsun.
after my journey through the mall i head down and get kristina. so then we go to joy's party. since we don't really know anyone we chill outside. we watch the hord of little kids hangingout playing in the front yard. we were saying which kid was like people we knew..we found a marc, matt and john..kinda funny. then kristina asked to join 2 of the guys playing pasoy dos. she keeps losing..kinda funny. then after awhile trish and roshidi arrive. so we all chill outside. joy's cousin was there..eric aquino. one of my old chief of staffs from the theatre. he's a lot bigger than he was back when he was in high school. but that's not to say he looks huge or anything. he was a skinny boy back then too. glad to hear he's going to law school. good for you lee eric aquino. hehe
after joy's i dropped off kris at her house then went home to get jac and mom and head to quinn's bday party. damn quinn is 18 and going to prom and gonna graduate then off to ucla. she's no longer our little girl..sniff sniff. damn her house was packed. swear that all of the senior class at southwest high was the house for her party. princess was there when i got there. she looks good. tired but good. she showed us her bald head. it's kinda funny..not the situation but just having her bald.. after she left hung out with rennan and bin. damn those boys are tall. it was cool though.
such a busy night.

cy, joyce and don don came to visit. cy looks good. he's alot darker than he was but that's to be expected. he's still the same though. his demeaner and enthusiasm is still there. good for him. he shared some war stories with us. showed us pictures of their new house and car in hawaii. nice...having him around reminds me how much i miss him at family affairs. he was always the life of the party. and now with joyce going with him i'm losing my chat buddy. hehe. but it's about time cy, joyce and don don be a family again. they have been apart for over a year.

other than that i haven't done much. just been working on the APSS web page. finally got it to a style that i was happy with. so its up and running. still modify something every day..but at least it gives me something to do.

a week has come and gone. it's had it's ups and downs as most of life has..so here we go

saturday 10th
had to take inang and lolo to the kundirana concert. it was in the escondido performing arts center. so i dropped them off then met up with mom, jac, marc, and quinn at the carlsbad outlets. it was a cool mall. we went looking for mothers day gifts and quinn's prom dress. got inang 2 timberland vests since she keeps asking me for vests. we found a possible dress for quinn but it's also polka dot like her sweethearts dress so that's only a possibility. we went to the puma store. i got a black puma jacket..and it's a female jacket where as all my other zip ups are males. jac got 2 blue puma jackets. we went into a book store and marc and quinn found a book that tells you the type of person you should be based on your bday. and for the most part it fit everyone. i can't remember which one of us it didn't match. but i know for sure it fit marc. after the mall, we went to eat at in & out. that was cool. after that the 4 of them were gonna try to go to the el camino real to look for nana's locket but it was closed. and i headed off to pick up inang and lolo. i got there before the show let out so i was in the lobby. they had a tv showing what was happening on stage. when i arrived they were singing the thong song...that wouldn't be all that bad if it wasn't 11 guys with strong fob accents singing the thong song..ya know?!? anyways...so then after about 3 songs they came out and we went home.

sunday 11th - happy mother's day
so it's mothers day. jac and i still have to find nana's locket so we get ready. as we are about to leave we decide to give mom her gift. we make her sit down first. so she opens it and lo and behold it's a locket. we have her open it and she starts balling. inside the locket is a picture of her and great nana when mom was about 2 years old. so she was very emotional. her locket had inside on the left a quote about those that we lose are treasures..sorry i can't think of the real quote..and then we placed the picture opposite it. so it fit really well.
so then jac and i hit the mall to find nana a locket cause we are gonna put a picture of her parents in there. now that they have both passed away. so here's our adventure...first we go to jcpenny cause they are suppose to have a mother's day locket that we saw on the ads that we liked. but to no avail. so we start hitting jewelry store after jewelry store looking for nice lockets and that aren't expensive. we hit half of the stores on one side of the mall when we go to aljen jewelers. we found a locket that had 2 slots, like we wanted. the locket itself was cheaper than we thought but it coupled with the chain was kinda pricey. that's ok.
so we start heading home and go to inangs to drop off the vests for her. we get there and the dela cruzs are there. and auntie elenita and her parents were arriving as we were. matt got more piercings. dang boy.
we go home and not long after people start arriving for the davis mothers day bbq. it was an ok night. everyone got along..i worked on armida's labels for her "we've moved" notices. the girls were being themselves.
i still have to study for my finals that start tomorow..auugghh!!!

monday 12th
well had my spanish final today. at 7 in the fricken morning. what the hell is that. it's too damn early. but it was ok. hopefully i passed. i decided not to take my stats final cause i didn't know anything on it. i registered for stats again next semester anyway. so after school i head down to pomerado hospital to get proof of going to the er in november for my petition. they said it would take 3-4 days. great. then around 6pm i get a call from pomerado hospital that my records are ready to be picked up tomorrow. yayee

tuesday 13th
before i head up to my final for child development i stopped by pomerado hospital to get my records. this thing was indepth. it said all the tests i took and the results and why i went there. i didn't exactly know what they needed for my petition so i gave them the whole thing. hope they aren't grossed out. then i took my child development test. i think i did ok. not sure though. we got our papers and our poster grades back. i got a 94 on my paper and 100 on my poster presentation. AND sharon was able to pronounce my last name correctly. my phonetic spelling that i put on my poster presentation helped..hehe go sharon!!!
after the final quan i went to lunch at taco bell. i can actually handle eating that again. then we went to circuit city and best buy. such a thrilling day. before we left to eat i gave my dad the apss certificates and asked him to do caligraphy on it.so that was his task for the day. they came out pretty nice. jac and i worked on the apss scrapbook to hopefully be done with it by the banquet. but we'll see

wednesday 14th
i should be studying heavily for biopsyc tomorrow but i'm not. i'm being a lazy bum. jac and i worked on the scrapbook but it won't be finished so we'll just use it over the summer for the recruiting. that's if we finish it. i still need to find pictures of the contemporary fashions..no one seems to have them. trish and lex came over to sign the certificates. we gave trish her card that we got people from apss to sign. she was surprised.

thursday 15th - HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY QUINN!!!!
had my biopsyc exam this afternoon. it was ok. there were a couple of questions i didn't know jack shit about. but what are you gonna do right. tonight was our first annual apss banquet. it was at chin schewan in rb. it was cool. got to see who the founders were. michael still got on my nerves. that boy needs to grow up..he's a married man now but you couldn't tell from his behavior. there was some tension in the room. some were warranted and some seemed blown out of proportion. marlino did slide presentation. unfortunately it had more pictures of last years members and events than this years. but that will be something to work on next year. evening out the slides. this banquet was a learning experience. as it should be since it's the first one. but now this year is over and a new one begins.

friday 16th
well summer break has officially began and i'm bored out of my mind. sucks doesn't it. well tomorrow i got stuff to do. i have joy's graduation at 1 in del mar, then her party around 4 then if i decide to go there's liz's graduation at state at 530 then quinn's bday party at 5. yikes meng. should be an interesting yet long day.

today is friday the 9th...HAPPY BIRTHDAY THI AND JEAN-E-PER.

so today begins mad cramming for finals starting on monday. i have spanish final on monday at 7am, then stats right after at 915. then on tuesday i have child development final at 1130am then on thursday is my biopsyc final at 145pm. so yeah...that's what my week looks like so far.

catch up time..

sunday the 4th
we went to a memorial mass for great nana. st john of the cross holds these masses for those that have passed within the past year. So we went. it was us 4, armida, sophia, isabel, carmen, nana, tata, nena, tom, aida, rachel, mickey, tia armida, tio david, tio carlos. tio carlos was all dressed up in a suit. he looked nice. it was kinda weird being back in that church though. so when we get there the sun is shining directly where we are sitting through the stained glass windows above. so that was kinda freaky. then as mass started the sun fell momentarily and it got kinda dark all of sudden...great...i was fine throughout the mass. ignoring the priest as always, talking to jaclyn about the people around us and such. then it came time to announce whom the memorial mass was for. great nana's name was 3rd. when the lectorer read her name i kinda began to tear up but that's all i did. have yet to grieve still. we'll see i guess.
after mass we went to nana's house so jac can get her tuition and the adults can plan the menu for our mother's day bbq. so they did that as jac and i played with the girls. i swear they are becoming more of a handful as they get older. after that was all settled we went to dinner at olive garden at grossmont center. it was the 4 of us, armida and the girls and carmen. that was interesting. we got to see how finicky the girls are about what they eat and how they eat. isabel is a damn turtle. sheesh woman just eat already. sophia was just eating. after that we came home.
when i got home i started reading back into my blog to get info about what happened to me and when last semester so i could put it into my spiel as to why i need to withdraw from last semester.

monday the 5th
after spanish i went to the assistant dean's office to ask him about the problems i was having at SMACC to get proof about seeing them. he was in meetings up until jac's appt so i decided to crash her appt. so i went into the computer lab to see if jac was there since it was only 9am and her appt wasn't until 1030am. and sure enough she was there and there was a pc open behind her. so i sat there. she started typing out her spiel as to why she needs this semester dropped and i began writing my spiel about why i need last semester dropped. jac's was only a page long and mine was 2 pages single spaced and with a lot of info. hehe. so when it came time for her appt we went to the assistant dean's office. we he had both of us in his office. it's kinda funny if you think about it. i mean i'm trying to withdraw from last semester and jac is trying to withdraw from this semester. anyhoo. so he took my paperwork even though i didn't have the physical proof from SMACC or Pomerado Hospital. but he took it down that we had those. he said he'd call if he needed more proof. so now we wait. he said to call him friday afternoon to see if we need anything or what..
after our meeting we headed to the dome. waterboy and ham were there with marc and lcg(little china girl). ali, desiree and amara were getting ready to go to lunch so they invited jac and me. we went to nattiya's thai restaurant next to denny's on san marcos blvd. i liked it. jac isn't really into thai food. but it was cool that we got to mix our own thai iced teas. it was fun hanging out with them. we were all talking about people at school and apparently amara and desiree know arnell and the gang. desiree and amara are from mira mesa but they graduated in 2002. it's all good though. so jac was talking about mira mesa people with them. we were all just one big circle.
after that jac and i went to look at decks for car. i want to get an mp3 deck. we saw alpines and eclipse. i'm leaning towards alpines. even though the eclipse is cheaper it doesn't really do much. we'll see.

tuesday the 6th
welp. we had our final apss meeting. we held elections and now it's official, I'M VICE PRESIDENT!!. oh no!!! it's all good though. we brought up the fact that jam control and apss will no longer be affiliated and that we will be starting a new dance team on campus. i talked about andi and how she's willing to be our new choreographer. and they seemed interested. so that's cool.
i'm so fricken tired it's not even funny. no matter how much i try to stay awake while driving i lose and fall asleep. this morning i almost crashed into the island and then into a semi going to school. so not cool. then i had to run inang on errands and i was falling asleep then too. that finally when we got to costco instead of going in with her i stayed in the car and took a nap while she shopped. it helped though. i didn't doze off driving home. damn.

wednesday the 7th
my back was killing me again so i didn't go to school again. oh fricken well. mom came home early from work and wanted to go to barona. jac had an interview at 1 and i had to run inang on some errands again. and i had intended on buying my deck today too. so i took inang on her errands as jac was in her interview. after i was done with inang i went to al and eds and bought the alpine 9807 yayee..so i left the car there and mom picked me up. we thought jac would be out of her interview soon and we would go to barona for a couple of hours before my car was done and dad came home. that didnt' work out. jac didn't get home til 330-345. my car was ready. so we went to pick up my car and then headed to barona. i like my stereo =). it's nice and blue and has a remote...which i've realized is alot easier to use than physically dealing with the deck itself. so we were at barona for about 2.5 hours. none of us won. i guess my streak is done with. man..this chick at the war table had been in the same seat from noon til 730 straight. she lost over 700 bucks and was heading to vegas right after that. damn..must be nice to be able to lose that and still go on to another casino or string of casinos for that matter. damn.
so we came home and i started working on my poster board for child development class. it's the presentation part of our paper that i bitched about in earlier blogs. took me over 4 hours to do. that was a pain in my ass. i was so tired that i finished and crashed out. thank god i didn't have to work the next day cause then i probably wouldn't have gotten any sleep.

thursday the 8th
well i didn't go to any other classes except child development. one i was tired 2 i really didn't feel good. my stomach was all upset the night before and i was spitting up shit in the morning. not cool i tell ya. so i got to child development and showed jenn dizney my poster board. i wrote out my last name some what phonetically cause it's been a joke with the sharon about how she can't pronounce my last name yet. so i thought i'd give her a hand. she found it amusing. it helped though. she wrote it down on my grade sheet and she had to read off names later in the class and she was able to pronounce correct. hehe. she said i did a good job on my poster so i'm hoping that means i got a 35/35.
after class i headed down to the dome and kicked with both ann(e) maries, kristina, andre, francis, phuong, and later thu. me and ann marie were just bantering back and forth..don't worry i still love my jealous slutty klutz..hehe..you had to be there to understand that. after that i went to dmv in poway..GOD I HATE THAT PLACE!!! to register my car. after being in line for over an hour i got my new sticker. then i went to inangs to take her to vien hong. and she wasn't there yet. the hope driver got lost. so i placed my sticker on my license plate and channel surfed til she got there. then i took her to pick up her dry cleaning and then to vien hong. took a nap again. later i went to trish's house to work on apss and count the contents of morty the pig. phuong came later to bust open morty. morty actually had quite the amount of money for being such a small pig. then i had to replicate some of the organization recognition forms. that was time consuming. it was kinda funny cause i was calling up members asking for their ssn and they were freely giving it to me. some did ask what for..but i got it.

friday the 9th
so here i am tired from work and working on apss so late. i have errands to run later and i need to start studying for finals. good luck to me..

well a lot has happened in the last week and half..and yet not much has happened.

mainly been working on Asian Moxie with trish. so much to do in such little time. it's all good though. we were still working on getting the clothing lines to confirm, set up a schedule, get all the models situated..which never really happened i might add. well the day came for asian moxie on thursday the 1st. we had a rollercoaster ride that day. we had the dj, venders, clothing, dancers, models and such arrive late. although we had a schedule planned out most of the show was winged. but it turned out good. everyone had fun, which is the main point. but you could tell after the show that many people were relieved. after that people were more relaxed and just enjoying the company and such. i became webmistress for APSS after the show. we went to Garrett Collins' office and had the login and pw transferred from phuong to me. so i started working on it yesterday and today. so far i got everything i could up and running. now just waiting on more pictures from asian moxie and other apss events so i can post them. but at least now there is something up there besides the main page. so at least i know i did something with my webmistress title..even if this is all i ever do with it..hehe. now all we have with apss left to do is elections on tuesday. after that it's finals week then we are done.

hopefully i don't get kicked out of school. i still need to write up my explanation as to why i want to retro withdrawal from my classes last semester. but i'm having problems with the fricken health office cause they want me to make an appt with the doctor to get a simple fricken note saying that i saw them last semester. how fricken hard is that. damn you people. we'll see.

other than that just been working on school..well ya know..and sleeping. right now my goal is to find a good cd/mp3 deck for my car cause my stereo is dying on me..and i'll be needing new speakers. hopefully it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. well for now that's my life. like i said, busy but not eventful. if you wanna check out my skills as the webmistress feel free: www.csusm.edu/apss

oh yeah.WELCOME HOME CY!!! the USS Paul Hamilton pulled back into pearl harbor on april 26, 2003. so cy is home from the war and he should be in diego visiting and celebrating his bday later this month..YAYEE!!!
