hello one and all...

well winter break is turning out to be boring and lethargic...oh wow..

friday: happy 1st birthday ms. ellie!!
finally cleaned my car and got it washed. ironically i found john's gift from the sison's in the trunk. my dad didn't clear out my trunk completely of all the xmas gifts. oops. called auntie azon and told her. she told me to bring it to on saturday to the rosary at their house for nanang.

saturday: happy birthday Princess
can you believe it...i'm 27 years old and i'm teething..my mouth is swollen and in pain. my bottom left wisdom tooth is coming in and has my left side all wacked out. you can see that it's swollen and it hurts some. not cool at all..

went down to san ysidro for nanang's rosary. there were a lot of people there that i didn't know. oh well. tatang seemed like he was in a daze. i feel sorry for him. according to naning yesterday was his birthday. he had to celebrate his first bday as a widow amidst the 40 days of mourning.

after that jac and i went to the sapanza house to say happy birthday to princess and give joyce the receipt for her pants. it was kinda weird though because it was the 1st in a long time that everyone was there at the same time and it wasn't a birthday party. it was ken, joey, ms ellie, nathan, jacob, princess, loli, joyce and don don. the only person missing was cy but that's expected. we hung out with them as they got ready to go clubbing for princess' bday. we finally got to see cy and joyce's wedding picture. she actually had a wedding dress for it. she told us the story about their wedding and stuff. it was cool. jason and hansel arrived to join them clubbing then rachel showed up too. talked to jason for awhile. poor guy..him and his girlfriend broke up xmas eve. and unlike other times, he hasn't called her about it. it seemed as though he was sad and yet at the same time surprised that he hasn't tried to resolve things. who knows.

came home..went to bed not long after. better yet i TRIED to go to bed not long after. my mouth was hurting sooooooooo much. i tried falling asleep but it was too painful. especially if i had any pressure on my left side. finally around 1-ish (almost 3 hours after trying to sleep) i went downstairs and got a bag of ice and placed it on my face. about 10 minutes later i was finally able to fall asleep.

sunday
for the most part my mouth hurts when i try opening my mouth. i heated up some chicken wings and i usually eat them with a fork and knife. just opening my mouth big enough to fit the fork in my mouth hurt. oh what a pain in my mouth and ass.

jac and i started sorting through all the pictures we have been collecting for the web page. haven't gotten around to scanning them but i'm starting to put them into a photo album. at least something is happening with the pictures..so right now my floor is covered in piles of pictures. soon i'll need to clean it up..

happy holidays..

well today is the day after xmas. i actually battled the return lines at target to return quan's gift..but that wasn't too bad at all. i went to best buy to get quan his lucy dvds and even that wasn't too bad. i went to old navy to get cousin cheryl's gift. even that was a breeze. i think i spent more time waiting to cross the street to get to my car than wait in line to pay and there were a grip of people there.

how was my holiday you may ask...it was busy. on monday jac and i went to southside to deliver the sapanza's xmas gift. before that we went to ranch 99 to get my parents his and hers broadway mirrors. but while jac was at work i was wrapping gifts and buying more boxes and stuff. so that's how my day was spent. after we left the sapanza's we went to bennigans to meet up with the theatre crew for becky's farewell dinner. she's off to university of massachussetts boston to study history. i don't get that. anyhoo. so i was back home and slept for work.

then on tuesday i had to finish wrapping gifts. at 1230pm i started my santa journey. first i head down back south to chula vista to drop off gifts at the sison house. it took me awhile to get there because i was caught in bumper to bumper traffic...what the hell is that?!? so i got there around 145pm. chilled there talking with grace and rodney and 3 of the 4 kids. it was cool. so then i finally headed to la mesa to go to nana and tata's house. i hung out there for awhile with the girls (sofia and isabel) ate some steak and worked on nana's crystals. i also had to hang out a bit because armida decided she didn't like what she got me for xmas and went to exchange it. ooookkkk..so then i head to carmen's in scripps to drop her gift and pick up my mom's. after that i headed to san marcos to joy's house. i hung out there for about 1.5 hours. then i went to the store and bought soda for the family and finally arrived home at 830pm. travelled the city delivering and picking up gifts. sheesh.

i got some down time before the family started arriving after mass. time flew by pretty fast actually. before we knew it it was already 1130pm and we were waiting for the san ysidro canonizados so we can eat and open gifts. they got there about 15 minutes later. so we ate. i really can't remember what we ate..oh well. right at midnight i called joyce and wished her a happy birthday. i passed the phone around to my mom, naning, john, i'm not sure who after that but i finally got the phone back from nicole. so that was kinda cool. finally about 1230am we opened gifts. unlike past years we all opened our gifts at the same time instead of starting from the youngest and working our way up the age ladder. ironically mellvin was the last person because he was asleep. we took our individual family pictures as we waited for the san ysidro clan but we were never able to take our big family picture. we finally went to sleep around 3am.

i got a great call at 830am on xmas day. my phone rang and it woke me up. i looked at the caller id and saw that it was cheryl's cell. so i answered the phone and said merry christmas. i was glad to hear from her. i missed her while she's in china. she told me that she was home..YAYEE!!! it was kinda funny because when i was leaving joy's i thought about stopping by her house and just say merry xmas to her parents. she asked me about what time and she said that she was actually home already. i would have seen her if i did stop by. weird huh? anyhoo she started telling me about china and all the fun she had over there. i know she had the time of her life. it was great to hear that excitement in her voice. it was good to hear her voice anyway. even with as early as it was i was excited. took me awhile to go back to sleep after we hung up. so i woke up later on and chilled before i got ready for the family to come back around 2pm. i got ready and hung out downstairs with them for about an hour or so then i kidnapped naning and i took her with me to donald and eileen's in murrieta. we hung out there for about an hour or so. drake was sooo cute playing with his golf set that we got him. eileen made the most awesome mint fudge brownies. they were good. then we came home. i took naning with me as my co-pilot so i wouldn't fall asleep on the road like i kinda did the time before. it was fine on the way up. we were talking and she was going through all my cds. but on the ride home when it was dark and there was even more not to look at she conked out on me. some kind of co-pilot i had..hehe..after that i waited for mom to come back from fallbrook and her side of the family then we went to ate sheilah's. we hung out there for about an hour or so. we were so tired. it's been a whirlwind couple of days. i had to work this morning too. so i ended up going to bed around 10pm. which is very unlike me. so i figured over the course of the 3 days, including my house, i went to 7 houses spanning from chula vista to murrieta. sheesh thats alot of places to visit in such a short time. majority of that was done alone.

kristina stopped by a little while ago to get her gifts from me and jenn. jenn got her some cool stuff. she got a sachet of very sexy and a lip gloss/perfume combo. that was neat. it's usually what people take with them anyway and now it's all in one. we gave her a burgandy victory sweatshirt. coolio.

well off to sleep i go. luckily i don't have to work in the morning.

sunday cont..
well originally i had told jenn and kristina that they needed to go to school on monday so i can give them their xmas gifts since the boys were gonna be there. but kristina's dad wanted her to stay home before her final at 1pm and skip spanish. it turned out that the 4 of them were at matt's house chillen. so i went over there with their gifts. i gave jenn a carebear lunch box with spongebob squarepants fork and spoon set inside and pills for boob enhancement from spencers. once my new web page is up and running you'll understand the boob enhancement pills. kristina i got a rainbow brite lunch box with the same fork and spoon set inside. since they are similar but not identical...and jenn always has food and kristina is always taking it from her. as for the Mtwins..marc and mike...i got them matching austin powers lunch boxes and identical brown beanies. so they can be twins even more. they were funny when they opened it. they were cute.

monday
i was suppose to go to spanish but i went to bed with a herendous headache that persisted all through work. when i got home my dad reminded me that i had to take lolo to the doctors. so i called marilou and told her i wasn't going and i texted ali that i wasn't gonna meet her and jon in the dome as planned. so i slept til it was time to take inang and lolo. damn there was no parking anywhere at the hospital. by the time i found parking and found inang and lolo their appointment was done. they finally took the feeding tube out of lolo's stomach. so we walked back to the car and it was windy and lolo was complaining the whole time about how windy it was. and with every complain lolo gave inang would holler at him. so i asked if lolo was getting tired of walking since it was some distance away and he's not used to walking that much anymore. inang said that he's just complaining about the wind and she was getting upset with him because he was complain..yada yada..so i turned around and told inang that that's what she always does, complains, and she just turned and looked at me and smirked. heheh

tuesday
finally my mom starts xmas shopping. sheesh. jac and i have been after her that xmas was around the corner. jac and i derived a list of the people we need to shop for. there are like 60 names on this list. yikes. but it's all good. we went to escondido to shop. we first went to tilly's. ran into june pagaduan there. gave her my condolences on her dad even though he passed away months ago but i haven't been in contact with her for some time. but she looks good. after tilly's we went to styles then to tjmaxx then to mervyns. gosh we did soooo much damage there. almost $500 there...and that was after we used the gift certificates we got last time. sheesh. finally we got home at almost midnight. and i still had to wrap faye's gift for the secret santa at work. after that i went to sleep for work. definitely not a restful night.but at least we got a good chunk of our shopping done.

wednesday
got up and went to work. gosh i didn't want to be there. i was sooooo tired it wasn't funny. rob made the flow team hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch for our holiday luncheon. i didn't eat any of it. i wasn't too hungry. oh well. after work i went to spanish to take my final. i thought it was gonna be harder than it was. oh well. so i got out early with hennifer and we went to the dome so i can meet up with ali and meet jon. they are cute together. spent the whole time talking and trying to take pictures of ali since i still don't have any funny poses from her. i gave her her xmas gifts. it was a candle with a glass in front of it with the chinese character for love and a deck of cards of 52 tokens of affection. we went through the cards and decided which ones they can do now, do later in future (breakfast in bed, bubble bath, etc) and stuff that should be discarded. it was kinda funny. i was sorting through them like i was the censorship board. i was deciding which ones were good enough and which ones were out of their league. it was cool. it was really fun hanging out with ali, jon and marilou. i hadn't laughed that hard in so long. at one point ali started crying because she was laughing so hard. after that i was telling her about how my abdomine hurts when i laugh too hard and one incident with joy at islands where the waiter thought she had beat me up because i was in sooo much pain and i was crying. and sure enough not long after my abdomine started hurting and jon and ali took of picture of me and marilou during that period and it looks like she's beating me up. it was kinda funny. i gave marilou her xmas gift too. i gave her shot glasses. there are 4 of them. on says one tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila, floor. she was busting up. heheheh after that we went our separate ways. as marilou and i were walking towards our cars i couldn't remember where i parked..i wanted to say "where the fuck did i park?" but of course that's not how it came out..it came out "where the fuck did i fark?" oh lord. she said she was gonna put it in her profile and sure enough she did.

after that i went to our secret santa gathering at jean's house. she has a nice house. it was gaylene, mariana, faye, ryan, jean, myself, mason, and eventually gloria. it was cool. we had finger foods. we had gum drops,seafood salad, lumpia, merengue, crackers, cheese, and deviled eggs. for dessert we had chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. it was very good. then afterwards we exchanged gifts. i gave faye a norman rockwell gift set. it had 4 mugs with norman rockwell pictures and cappaccinos and cookies. ryan gave me a bear with lucky brand perfume and jasmine candles. after that gaylene had to take mason to the doctors..poor baby was gonna get more shots. afterwards the rest of us just sat around talking about work and other stuff. it was actually enjoyable.

i must today was a good day..i had fun throughout the day. i wish i had more days like this.

yes, i'm still sick. now my sis and mom have the cough. hennifer is getting sick too. don't blame me hennifer..i stayed home..

so what has been happening..

friday
jac and i went to mission valley to do some shopping. we needed to get sofia her bday gifts. we bought her a bunch of barbie stuff: a beach cruiser, kennel care set with 2 dogs, and a swimming pool for her barbies. we went to spencers got some shtuff for the csusm crew. everytime i think of romans i start laughing. i pretty much got them gag type gifts except for ali since she's too innocent for that. once we really get our "influence" over her then we'll start with the gag gifts..muahahah...wink wink nudge nudge. got henn, mike, marc, and kristina similar gifts since they are the "couples" and are always together. got marilou some stuff. should be interesting.

saturday - HAPPY 28th BIRTHDAY QUAN!!!
went to sofia's bday party. it was smaller than usual. that's cool though. the food was good. ate some carne asada and chicken wings. interesting mix don't you think?!? so then after that i went to frye's to get quan his Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. got all the way down there and had this knawing feeling and realized that i had left my drivers license and atm card at home in my jeans from work. duh jess..that means i drove to san marcos then to pq then to aero drive without a drivers license. oops..so i drove back home and got them then went back to frye's. i got his game then went through the check out. after that i went back to mission valley and finished getting the couples their stuff. so then i went home and waited for quan to get off work. so he finally got to my house after work and checking in at home. we went to dinner at TGIFridays. it was cool. afterwards we came home and watch SNL til i fell asleep...oops..so he woke up and i walked to the door. such an interesting night don't ya think.

well it's sunday afternoon now and i'm not sure what my plan is..definitely hit my parents up for $$ since i'm so po'. ok, that's it for now..ttyl

greetings and salutations..

well i'm still sick damn it. my coughing is getting worse. i've missed both review sessions this week for spanish because my coughing has been sooooo shitty. i feel bad that i didn't go today because ali was bringing her yearbook and baby pic for me but i never made it there and i would have called her like tuesday to tell her i wasn't going but i came home early from work to try to rest since i was coughing all night and didn't get up til about now. and it's almost 1pm. so i didn't get the chance to forwarn her. sorry ali.

tuesday i didn't go to class as i said above. inang calls me around 215 and asks me to take her down to national city to drop off lolo's check and letters at the desinganio's(sp?) because they are going to the philippines next week. so i tell her that if we go we have to go now because i have a rosary to attend to at night. after she hears me say yes, she asks, "so we'll go later?" NO. i tell her i have to go now or i can't take her. so she calls them and gets directions then calls me back. i tell her i'll pick her up at 3 since i still need to take a shower (had no class and slept all morning). so i pick her up and she fricken lags getting out the house. sheesh. so we are on our way around 330pm. there was already traffic in different patches on the 805 but we arrive in national city around 4pm. so inang starts talking to them and thanking them for taking her envelope to the philippines and is taking her sweet ass time. i tell her that we need to leave because i have to be somewhere, which i have told her several times already. so we go. there was a car accident not far from their house on the 805 north. so that slowed us down a bit. finally inang asks me if i have a party to attend or something. i tell her, again, that i have a rosary. she asks who's rosary and i tell her that katrina's grandmother died last week. so we finally get home and i drop off inang. on my way home stop by mcdonalds and get some chicken nuggets and fries since i haven't eaten yet. i go home eat then change and wait for carmen to go to nana kika's rosary.

so we get down to the rosary. it was kinda weird because except for lily we really haven't seen ceasar's family. it was an open casket. and even though i saw nana kika lying there and the color of the casket and stuff i kept imagining great-nana's rosary. i could see the grey with pink tint casket. imagine the pink material inside with the pink roses embroidered(sp?) in the middle (that's something only a few of us know about since it was a closed casket rosary and funeral). as the rosary progressed i was telling nino mickey that i forgot how ghetto the munoz family is. i mean the kids were in raiders stuff and beanies. the adults: the women had the black eye liner and dark makeup. the guys had all the same style combed back hair and the facial hair. mickey and i were reminiscing about when he was in that ghetto thing too. he used to wear the black and white nikes that the heaven's gate people wore when they killed themselves. black or khaki shorts that fell below the knee with high white socks pulled up. he used to wear the raiders jersey that was sheer so you can see underneath it with a white wife beater tshirt underneath. and he would have silver chains around his neck similar to the bling bling but in silver. there was even a kid there around john's age with some of the stuff we were talking about. was kinda funny. it was sad though to see lily crying and taking this hard. even though irma and elena (her sisters) were there lily was closest to her mom. nana kika lived with lily and lily was there when she died of the heart attack. of course the boys were no where to be found. ceasar was told he was not to attend if he was stoned..he never made it..and andy, no one has talked to in years. katrina wasn't there but they said she was there earlier and left because she couldn't handle it anymore and to try to find her dad. katrina had trouble handling it when great-nana died and we had the rosary. she didn't even go to the funeral. so it was no surprised that this was too much for her. she was really close to her nana kika. my mom noticed that this year we have lost grandparents. in april daddy died and he's the grandfather of my generation. then great-nana but she was grandmother of the generation ahead of us, then lola shanang who again is the grandmother of our generation, then nanang - our generation, and now nana kika. it's sad that we've reached an age that we start having to deal with death more frequently.

well so far that's my life. been actually working on my web page. worked mainly on the csusm crew. got marilou, jenn, and kristina all done. just need to fill in the answers for ali. still need to work on the guys but i need pictures of them..which by not going to school is kinda hard..ya know...worked on cy and joyce's page. did you know that joyce's full name is marie christie joyce hinahon. she said that she was named all that because she was born on xmas. marie for mary, christie for xmas and christ, and joyce for joy. poor girl. also started working on my photo album pages. but so far it's all csusm crew pix. i need to go through my old cds and find other pics and go through my photos and scan other ones. still a work in progress. still trying to figure out what i want to put on my page. i got most of it done..but we'll see.

wow i haven't blogged in about a week..hmm what's been happening..

lets see...we had a spanish test on thursday. i actually left stuff blank..i can't believe that. i couldn't remember the english translations to some of the words. after the test marilou and i chilled in the dome. roman and ali were there with aldrich(sp?) so we sat with them. marilou had brought OLPs yearbook from ali's freshman year. ali hasn't changed a bit. she was freaking out because it was the year she had braces and you couldn't even see them in the picture. marilou's face slendered from then til now. the yearbook is small though. of course it's an all girls private school. while we were looking at it james and drew came up and took a look too.

friday was just blah..later on at night jac, mom and i went shopping at mervyns for stuff for the twins for the babyshower on sunday, see if there was anything for mom to wear to dad's xmas party and get stuff for the little boy that mom is sponsoring for xmas. mom went over board on this kid..with good reason too. this kid is 8 yrs old and lives in a trailer with his parents and his 6 older sisters. so the only clothes he wears are girls cause they are all hand me downs from his sisters. so my mom got him 4 pairs of jeans (2 that fit him now and 2 to grow into), 2 pairs of dockers (1 for now and 1 for later), 2 dress shirts, 4 shirts, a sweat outfit and a belt to wear the big clothes. after everything we bought for him and our stuff it was like almost 600 bucks but because of discounts and no sales tax. we saved almost as much as we paid. but we also got $20 gift cards for ever hundred we spent. so that's cool.

saturday my parents went to my dads xmas party. quan came over. we went to dinner at athen's greek cafe. that was cool. saw james( a different james than above). he was our waiter. then we came home and watched MIB II. it was ok. not as funny as the first one but that's ok.

sunday we went to angie's house for the baby shower of the twins. it would have been nice to see the twins but they were back in the hospital. sonny was released but julie ann was still there. these babies are sooo tiny. they were premie like. they have had complications since they were in the womb. joanie was hospitalized for the last couple of months of her pregnancy. so i know this has been rough on her and art. angie's house is nice. it's an old 50s house but her ex husband had remodeled it while they were still married. he did a really good job. we found out that tia malena does oil paintings. they are all around angie's house. they were nice. one of them looked like the one we have downstairs in the living room across from the piano. after everyone left it was tia malena, angie, mom, carmen, armida, jac, me and art and joanie's other daughter gina. if you ever saw photos or video of christina aguilera when she was really young that's what gina looks like. maybe since they both have hispanic and white mix. who knows. but she is adorable but onery. she wants something..she wants it NOW!! she'll scream til she gets her way. and this kid is only 2.5 yrs old. anyhoo. when everyone left they were all talking about how shitty things were done with great nana's funeral and the division of her estate. because people's true colors came out there is a lot of tension among the family. most of it is against tia armida and the gamboas. we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

today hennifer, mar-e-lu and i had our oral presentations for spanish class. it was easy. i had this thing typed and although i covered the information on it, it was nothing like i had typed. i just winged it. i printed out pictures of the the different parts of my house, pictures of the family (both sides), and the collage of the csusm crew. and i just talked about the pictures. she would ask me questions as i went along. it felt short. and here ACDC was stressing sooo much. hennifer was the last one to give hers today and it seems like hers was the longest. its all good though. now we don't have to go to school on wednesday since its the other people's turn to do their interviews. after that i came home and had the breakfast of champions- microwavable popcorn. mmmmm..then i too a nap. here i am at almost 2pm and i need to get off my butt and deposit inangs check, take her my paperwork for IHSS, and find my secret santa a gift. also start working on my web page. i lag..yeah yeah i know.

almost done with the school week. yeah..

yesterday was a cool day. in spanish the teacher actually called me hessica like everyone from the crew calls me. then she called jenn - hennifer. then theirs mar-e-lou. hehehheh. after class we went to the dome and chilled. when we got there it was ali and roman. so marilou, jenn and i chilled with them. it was the funniest thing. i had my digital camera again..still trying to get the pictures for my web page..of course i keep getting funny pictures. i got marilou making a funky face, jenn was making monkey faces, and roman was taking random pictures of jenn. but i was able to get serious pictures of marilou, jenn, roman, mark, and ali. we were picking on roman as usual. but it's because we love ya roman..heheh
at 10am ali went to class. a while later roman left to study and jenn marilou and i went to wait for kristina and mike at their class. while we were there we were getting a lesson in Jenn Lingo. GWTP - TDND. we were making fun of marilou and calling her ACDC (academically challenged). then roman called wondering where we were so we told him to meet us at FCB building and somehow we found himself at UNIV hall. so jenn started saying that he was UNIVC..figure it out.

after mike and kristina got out of class we went down to the dome and ate pizza. mike ordered 2 slices and me and marilou ordered 1. it was funny because mike doused his in chili powder that he was sweating. his eyes were also open wider than normal. kristina was eating off marilou's pizza but dipping it into mine because mine was doused in ranch. jenn thought i was insane. but kristina was reassuring her that i was good. after we ate marc and mike headed off to class tagging jenn along with them and marilou, kristina and i went home.
i came home and crashed out for a couple of hours then took jac and inang shopping at target. man..we lost inang for the longest time. and the store isn't that big. we were there for over an hour. we also got jac's film developed from thanksgiving. we just need to finish the 2nd roll so we can get that developed too.

so after that ordeal we went back to inangs house. mellvin was there with auntie tita setting up their fake tree. mellvin was into it. he is getting soo big. then i came home and started scanning marilou's pictures. but as i was doing that i started chatting with garland. she was sending me pictures of her now and i was scanning and sending her pictures of her when she was 2. her face has not changed at all. she just grew up.

after awhile marc and kristina came over to watch old videos of marc. then we went to get dinner for the family. as we were getting ready to leave marilou arrived to pick up her pictures. so she came along with us. we went to cotixan.so when we got home dad shared his dinner plate with marc because it was too much for him. kristina mainly ate the tortilla chips, marilou and i shared my enchilada and tacos. my mom eventually ended up giving marc the rest of her dinner too. part started putting jalapeno peppers and chili peppers on his tacos. he was buring up. it was hilarious. he was sweating and he breathing in the chili taste. he finally had to get himself a glass of milk to cool his mouth. it was sooooooo hilarious.
around 9pm they all left and i started chatting with ali. eventually i started helping her with her speech. before i knew it 2 hours had passed and we did finally get her speech going. i'm sure she'll be fine with it. that is if she didn't wuss out and ask for an extension. heheh have confidence little grasshopper!!

when we were eating dinner mom said that she had just gotten off the phone with readicare and that the radiologist read her xrays again and indeed she broke her finger. hehe..so now we are alike in the broken bone factor..hehe

so that's my life at the moment..

i'll post pictures from our time in the dome later..

yesterday i went to the cher concert with my mom and carmen. that was a good concert. cindy lauper was the opening act. she opened for cher last time too. last time she started her set out in the audience. this time she started off on stage but then walked out into the audience. i got to see her up close because she walked all the way up to where i was and was a couple of rows ahead of me. so that was kinda cool. she is soo tiny though.

during the intermission they played old skool music like always. but because of the age group of majority of the audience they whole audience started partying. the entire audience was rocking and singing to the music. it became such a party that the staff turned on the cameras used for the big screens for the concerts and started circulating it around and showed how the audience was grooving and such. it was cool. and yes i knew all the songs..

after about 30 minutes of partying Cher hit the stage. it was a good concert..i know i already said that but too bad it was. it covered the 40 years of entertaining that she has done on the small screen, on the big screen and in music. it was neat that i knew every single song she sang and was played in videos inbtwn costume changes. i may not have known the lyrics but i have heard it before. of course i have seen her last 2 concerts before this too. but i knew them then as i know them now. her shows are always showmanship shows. i go to *nsync and britney concerts and theirs are always performance shows..hard choreography..cher's has choreography but more of a showmanship type stuff.

this was a great farewell concert. i truly enjoyed it and i've seen a lot of concerts in my time. the only thing i was bummed about is that i didn't see any cher impersonaters(sp?) at her last concert at cox arena there were soooo many guys dressed up as her..some of them looked really good. if you didn't already know but cher has a HUGE gay and lesbian following. at one point she was doing a circus intro and she said, "ladies and gentlemen, and flamboyant gentlemen" the audience was laughing and cheering for that. both cher and cindy lauper made references to their gay and lesbian followings. cher with her daughter who is a lesbian and her son is bi-sexual and cindy lauper told us about her older sister coming out of the closet..they made everyone there feel loved..which was really cool..

as we were getting into the car we had a little boo boo..as my mom was getting into the car she somehow managed to get her fingers into the door frame of carmen's door and carmen slammed my mom's fingers in the door. my mom was in pain. her fingers were swelling up. so when we got home my mom iced it for about 2.5 hours. so now it's monday morning and my mom is still in pain. so around 230pm we get a hold of the doctor's office and they tell us to got to readicare in rb. so we go and they check out my mom's finger. she didn't break any bones as we thought since she can't bend her fingers..but she did sprain it. so now her finger is in a brace for the next week..now she'll know what i go through everytime i slam my finger in the car door..which over my lifetime has happened 4 times and 1 resulted in a broken finger. hehe i'm a clutz i know.

today has been interesting. we were watching old videos. we watched my sister's 8th birthday and 15th birthday when she was actually really chunky. and we watched some old panan reunion tapes. it was kinda morbid because in each video we were talking about who has passed since then. there were actually a lot. mom kept on trying not to cry everytime the camera caught great-nana. it was kinda weird to watch great-nana though because she was sooo full of life and energy and to compare that to this year and how she was before she died. hmm
also been chatting with ali..just been talking about relationships..trying to be the cool ate'..felt kind nice though. it's all good. here's some advice i gave her that she posted on her profile

well it's sunday already. i swear weekends need to be 4 days long. not to mention as great holiday weekends are, they always screw up the schedule. it felt like sunday on thursday..then that hellish work day i had on friday didn't help. my body aches sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much from the day. i even found bruises on my arms from it..

well here's a run down of my day yesterday..
i went to work at 3am. i got off around 8:30a. i called quan because he was going to meet me after work and he wasn't there yet. so when i called him i woke him up. so there goes that. i came home around 9am and changed my clothes and crashed out. around 1230pm i felt someone staring and me and touch my shoulder and it was quan. he finally got out of bed i guess. so he watched tv a little while i continued to sleep. then i got up and changed and we began our shopping day. first we went to toys r us in mira mesa to look at his transformers and xbox metal gear solid 2. but we were just comparing prices. so then we walk next door and go to target. we buy his monster's inc, count of monte cristo, and dr. no dvds and some transformers. mind you we have now walked into my 2nd target today. keep track now. so we go to best buy to look at scanners since mine crapped out on me and quan agreed to buy me one. so we go and i find the movie i was looking for..here on earth with chris klein and leelee sobieski. good movie. anyway we find some scanners...not alot to choose from though but we check out prices. so then we go down to frye's and check out the scanners there. we find a canon for 99 bucks..yeah. so we get that. after checking out the prices of the 007 pc game we realize that target had the cheapest price. so we go to the one on balboa since it's near by to get quan his game. that was the shortest time we ever spent in a target..are you keeping track of how many i've been in already? so we decide to go eat at kfc in pq. so we are eating kinda looking forward to going home when my phone rings. it's inang..she attempts to ask me to get something from..guess where!!!!! target that she saw on THURSDAY in the ad for the sale that ends today (saturday). she asks me to get that thing for lolo that "pulls the hair from his lip" and keeps asking me if i know what she is talking about..WHAT THE HELL IS SHE TALKING ABOUT?.. then she says it's like a razor but you plug it in..then finally lolo chimes in from the background and tells her "shaver". she was asking for an electric shaver for lolo..it took her almost 10 minutes to say that..uuugghh..so that means that i have to return to a target TODAY and get it since the sale ends. so after we finish eating we go to the one in poway (where my target journey started sooooo early this morning) and get the damn shaver. i told quan that if i didn't work for target i would probably stay away for bit since i went to so many today...quan and i were saying that everytime i go to target to shop i should call inang and ask her what does she want since she seems to always call me to get something either after i just left target or i'm already standing in the target and she wants me to take her there so she can shop herself.

so then i come home and install my scanner and just chill the rest of the night.

now it's sunday..gonna run some errands, possibly get jac's film developed then get ready. i'm going to the CHER concert. she actually puts on really good shows. i'm going with my mom and her sis carmen. so that's pretty much my weekend in a nut shell.
